The City of Webster is accepting applications/resumes for the position of IT Administrator. The purpose of this position is to maintain and support the integrity of the City’s computer and communications systems by collaborating in the development and implementation of departmental policies, supervising contractors, including managing CAD/RMS/MCT/Radio networks and maintaining the Public Safety’s technology related service equipment. Duties also include configuring and installation of desktop and server applications, maintaining printers, maintaining Police and Fire vehicle pc’s and modems, maintaining various records and updating network and procedural documentation, repairing and replacing hardware, providing budgetary functions and interfacing with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees. This is an essential services position, and the incumbent may be required to provide services during emergency situations, and be available for scheduled on call rotation.
