The City of Webster’s Recreation Division is accepting applications for the position of Recreation Camp Counselor. This position is responsible for the safety, supervision and well-being of children in the Webster Day Camp program. The position will be responsible for interacting with children ages 6-12 while helping to provide an atmosphere that fosters cooperation, growth, and self-confidence. Camp counselors will also be responsible for implementing interactive game activities, sports skills development, helping with educational classes, swimming, going to the movies, field trips, computer lab, arts & crafts and other City programs. Camp Counselors will work the 4th of July Celebration at Texas Avenue Park. The first day of training, if hired, will be June 1, 2020, attendance is an essential function of this position.
